I bought these in the turquoise and orange frames. The orange is really more of an amber color I'm happy to say. They are striking. I get compliments on them all of the time. The lens quality is excellent also. This is my second purchase from boomer eyeware. I am a happy customer.

Lightweight, fashionable, bargain price, and of course the good lenses help you see better. I got the 1.25 in the orange (translucent amber)/turquoise (opaque light aqua) to see my computer screen and the 1.50 in brown (dark, opaque)/blue (translucent medium) for reading books. They're inexpensive, so they don't come with cases, but I always have extras from broken or lost glasses. Why pay for expensive readers when you can get these? Why look nerdy when you can look classy?

I am fair, blond, and blue-eyed, and I think I look pretty good in the orange/turquoise glasses. I'm enjoying those the most. I've dropped these so many times, but they are sturdy and still hanging together after much use.

I got 2 pairs for one shipping price--and fast service. Good way to run a business, Boomer Eyewear. I'll buy from them again.

UPDATE: I've had these for almost three years now. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped them or leaned over and had them fall out of my pocket -- and they're still holding together! I'm still enjoying them and glad I bought them.

I've gotten lots of compliments on these funky readers. They're really pretty on, look expensive and are very sturdy.

I love them, only wish they had more colors in 1.25. I went back online to order an additional color and they did not have them in very many colors, otherwise I really get alot of positive comments.

I ordered these because they looked both sturdy and nice in the photo and because of all of the positive reviews. I bought one pair of blue ones and one pair of purple ones. The blue ones are great. However, I wish I had heeded the review of "shopper" saying that the purple looked pink. The light purple does look like opaque pink in the front, and the two sides are almost completely the pink color. They really should rename these to pink/purple since the predominant color is pink in my opinion. If they had been predominantly purple with just some pink, they would have been okay. So, like another reviewer, I just use the pink ones at home and the blue ones stay in my purse. The company is very good to work with and quick to deliver.

The wide view and quality of materials is excellent, perhaps one of the nicest readers I've seen. I purchased the orange/turquoise combo but when I wore thees at work my close (female) friend said - it does not work for a guy. Ok, so then I wore these only at home, but then a few nights ago I gave it to my neighbor friend because the colors really compliment her hair streaks, and yes I have to admit the orange/turq probably does look better on a woman. Today I bought two of the white/grey ones. These are high quality and nicely styled glasses !

I have dozens of pairs of glasses that I vary to match my outfit. These are the only pair I've received compliments on. One of the doctors I work with, upon seeing my glasses, asked if I had just returned from Europe.

I have also had good dealings with this company. They replaced free of charge a pair of inexpensive glasses I had bought from them when I reported that they had broken.

I bought this and really loved the look. But If you have a big Head, don't by it, because it will push hard from both sides and hurt your wonderful brain, and there is nothing you can do about it, as i tried to and it still hurts me, and i have it for about 5 months. My mothers does not have a problem with it, so I guess it's just me. This glasses look very beautiful though. It is very unique.

I love these readers! They bring tons of compliments everytime I wear them. One of the best purchases in readers I've ever made.
