I grew up in the Newfane and Olcott area of Western New York, and even though I haven't lived in the area in years, it remains a very special place to me. I've always been a bit of a history buff, and coming across this book was like a dream come true. I especially enjoyed the photos of Olcott in its glory days. It's amazing to think of the people captured in these photos, in a time when life was so much simpler and somehow more relaxed.

If you're interested in the history of these two towns, then this book should not be passed by. The photos and captions are amazing and really do a great job of showing the viewer what the area was like many years ago.

I always look forward to my visits back to this area of New York, and I'll definitely be bringing this book with me on my next trip.
