Lovely and accurate (darn it!)
This scale looks more like a cutting board. It is pretty cool being wood and the organic shape makes it not scream out, "I'm A Scale!". It is understated and accurate -- to the 10th of a pound. It is kind of sensitive, meaning when you just move it a little, it sets it self up to weigh you. Thats just fine with me because my old Taylor scale that I replaced was really...

defective product
This was a gift for my daughter-in-law. It didn't work at all, so she replaced the battery. After this it never worked properly. She weighs 135 on other scales & almost 170 on these. Also defective when my son weighed. Needless to say, she returned it.

It seems to work very well. If I weigh myself twice, I get the same weight both times. You tap the scale to turn it on, and it starts right up. The only problem was the battery. It was dead when the scale arrived. A new 9 volt battery, and we were off and running.

The appearance of this scale is great, and it is very easy to use - no fancy buttons or tricks. My only complaint is that it is very sensitive, and it takes a few minutes to turn itself off, which I would assume is draining the battery faster than necessary.
