This book displays Cardinal Newman's skill in harmonizing the theoretical with the actual, the abstract with the concrete. These readings will whet the reader's appetite for more of Newman's works and may suggest subjects for private meditation.

Good Intro to Cardinal Newman,
By
This review is from: Newman for Everyone: 101 Questions Answered Imaginatively by Newman (Paperback)
Cardinal Newman was one of the preeminent Catholic theologans of the 19th Century. Fr. Brady takes excerpts of his works and edits them into a Balitmore Chatechism type question and answer guide.Covering topics ranging from Education, Sin, Death and the Second Coming, Newman provides the reader with solid Catholic theology and insights into questions that remain topical for the modern reader. This is probably one of the easiest ways to get introduced to Cardinal Newman's thought, and will be able to be digested by someone already familiar with the foundations of Catholic theology and looking for more.
