4.0 out of 5 stars This is going to sound silly, but...
Okay, I know this will sound silly, but these raisins have more stem stumps than any other brand I've ever tried. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're probably not as picky about your raisins as I am! The Newman's brand have more of the little woody stems sticking out from the top of the raisin, and I sit and pick through them and remove all of them before I...

3.0 out of 5 stars ok - a bit dry
Not a big fan - I add rasins to my cereals and have tried lots of different kinds - these ones seemed juicy at first but someone have become dry and have a crusty texture. I suspect that it may be because the bag's zip lock has stopped working. I'll try storing the next bag in an airtight container and will update this review if it improves.

Okay, I know this will sound silly, but these raisins have more stem stumps than any other brand I've ever tried. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're probably not as picky about your raisins as I am! The Newman's brand have more of the little woody stems sticking out from the top of the raisin, and I sit and pick through them and remove all of them before I add the raisins to my dish. They're also a little bit drier than I like, so I wouldn't just eat them straight. I prefer the Natural Selection store brand from Kroger, which is also organic. I know the stem thing is silly, but it bothers me, and sometimes it takes a long time to pick them all off!

These are a staple in our house. It's much easier ordering them from Amazon as opposed to hoping they're in stock in my local grocery store. Also, these aren't as grainy as the organic brand at the store. Since grapes are one of the "dirty dozen", we always buy our raisins organic.

These are the freshest raisins for our morning cereal or midday snacking. The stand up zip bag came so nicely in the Amazon box and kept the raisins even fresher. We enjoy the Newman philosophy of helping chidren with the profits. It is also nice to see beautiful Paul and daughter on the package.

I've been buying this item for some time, and they have been consistently good. Great to know that we are reducing residual pesticide intake through use of such products.

My opinion is that organic and non-organic raisins are as different as apples and oranges. Newman's Own have been my choice for a long time. I appreciate the value of the 32-ounce bag. The zipper bag doesn't work well with this brand (or with anything else). I put the raisins in a different container immediately.

Love them. Bag tends not to seal or break, but not going to mark the product down to 4 stars because of it. I'm buying for the raisins not the bag.

These are great raisins - soft and chewy. The bag isn't great, but I've always managed to reseal it (I need to double check it's closed though).

The raisins are fresh, sweet, and wonderful. As it states in my title, the bag is a pain: it never did zip closed once it was opened. I roll the top over and hold it closed with a rubber band, but it will take a long time to use all the raisins, so I will probably transfer them into a container. In spite of that minor inconvenience, I would recommend this product, if nothing else, for the hidden, humorous saying on the label. It is up to you to find it!
