This review is from: Newnes Guide to Television and Video Technology, Fourth Edition: The Guide for the Digital Age - from HDTV, DVD and flat-screen technologies to Multimedia Broadcasting, Mobile TV and Blu Ray (Paperback)
This book provides a rapid introduction to a wide variety of video technology. It covers enough detail to give you the flavor of how algorithms like MPEG work or how NTSC is structured, but without overwhelming you with too much detail. I found it very helpful.
