The pillow does NOT have organic cotton fill. It specifically states on the package (when I received it), that the cover is organic cotton, but the fill is natural cotton (big difference to some). If this is important to you, then I wouldn't suggest buying the pillow. The pillow is very firm, but I really like that about it. It doesn't go completely flat when you lay your head on it. Occasionally I have to flip the pillow over because it gets a little stiff in spots if you don't flip it regularly. I do love the pillow, but I gave it 3 stars because the listing is untrue.

There is no doubt that these Organic pillows are decent quality. And it's great to find them on Amazon, however if you like a cushy pillow that your head can sink into, these aren't that. They are ultra firm, so if that's your preference, you will be dreamily satisfied. They are puffy and soft, but very firm.

Don't buy these pillows if you need a truly non-toxic pillow because you're chemically sensitive. They must be treated with some fireproofing or some such chemical substance, they gave me such a headache when I used them. A MUST TO AVOID IF YOU ARE CHEMICALLY SENSITIVE.

I bought two pillows from this company. The outside said made in America, on the pillow tag it said made in China.

Wow, can I give this thing no stars??

#1, these are awful, awful pillows. My husband and I both got one less than a year ago, and they have both been flat as a pancake for ages now, with no chance of revival.

#2, only the COVER is organic! The filling is regular cotton! This seems like false advertising, because many people (including myself) will buy these pillows and pay extra because they are advertised as 100% organic - which they aren't.

Contrary to what the Amazon description clearly says, the fill is NOT organic cotton, but "natural cotton." I will try to contact Amazon and get them to fix their misrepresentation....

For the price, the pillows were great. Natural cotton not organic but fine by me. I have mild MCS and I react to synthetics. Mine did not have any bad smell as some reviewers suggested; but they do arrive in a cardboard box and plastic and could perhaps have picked up smells of other items in a truck. They were just like pillows I'd paid $50 for. I bought six and I'm very happy.

I just wanted an all cotton pillow, organic wasn't hugely important, and these have worked out well. They are FIRM and not soft and fluffy, but after two or three nights you get used to it. Also, refluffing it before you lay down helps to poof it up nicely each night. For the price, I love these. We own four!

Organic cotton cover, but the fill is not. I believe the fill is labled as "natural". There are no regulations on this term so who knows how natural it is. Overall, it is a firm pillow and a step up from what you might buy in a Wal-mart. Spend the $50 and get a real Organic cotton pillow.

In a quest of finding peaceful sleep and revitalization from everyday anxieties of life, I had started to think about how important it might be to sleep on organic products...on Amazon I found these wonderful organic cotton pillows...now every night I put my head upon a beautiful natural cotton cloud and dream...it may be an illusion, but I feel good about it...
