It took 7 calendar days to ship; however they shipped overnight to make up for it. Or maybe they shipped overnight by mistake. All the episodes are there, including "home for the holidays". The menus are barbaric; just a episode selection and a "play all". There are no sub-chapters for the episodes so you always have to start each one from the beginning. I guess they couldn't get the rights to the music since its all different; There is no opening credit sequence too because of it. But it plays fine on both the DVD players I have. The video and sound quality seem fine.

I just love these reality shows - The Hills is a big favourite of mine so I thought I would give Newport a go. And I loved it! I wish that there was another Season running. In Australia we are only just seeing it for the first time!

This is a great dvd set... The series follows a group of teenage kids that have just finished high school and heading off to college (or what we classify as Uni here in Australia)... The great thing about it is that it shares with us the real kids rather than the 'over the top sexed up - get everything you can' types that seem to be appearing on our TV screens of late. This is very enjoyable for both teens and parents alike...I am a mum of a teen daughter and like the fact that girls can say 'no' to guys and peer pressure without losing what they believe in and still show respect for their parents....keep it up Newport Harbour - Chrissy you are my daughter and her friends role model...Love from us in 'Down Under' Sydney Australia xx :)

this was a gret show and i was galad to see the complete series was out on dvd even thogh it is burn on demand. i loved the show when it was on mtv. the set is pretty good the picture and sound is gret. i wish it wold have some special features.

I bought this series on DVD as it wasn't shown on television here and being a HUGE Laguna Beach fan I really wanted to check it out. I wish I hadn't though :( Compared to the Laguna Beach series this is a real let down and doesn't flow. It feels staged and scripted and is all over the place. I didn't enjoy it and wouldn't watch a 2nd Newport Harbor series but ok for a wet, rainy day inside.

I bought Newport Harbor: the real Orange County and I really like it!! The DVD plays very well and all the episodes are there. I really recommand it if you love reality tv and drama. If you love the Hills and Laguna Beach that's for you!! I'm very satisfied of my purchase.

This is a low key but fun series on the lives of very wealthy teenagers in Newport Beach. Excellent footage of the Newport Beach area and beaches. The story is about teenage dating and romance in High School and all of the drama that surrounds who is dating who, and who dated that same person in the past. It is what it is, and if you like this kind of series about high school dating by millionaire kids, then you will like Newport Harbor.

I don't think this series was very good, and it doesnt really end so your kinda sitting there wondering what next???

Plus the main character Chrissy, when she smiles it looks like she's a murderer. hehe

I have waited a long time for this to come out on DVD. Had to watch this on the computer in segments, but I can now watch it on my big screen TV. It is great!
