I bought these shoes at least one full size too big for my son when he was still 3, but they were quite hard to get on. He loves them though and continues to wear them at 4 and a half, now that they're the right size, but they're still a pain to get on. Once the heel goes through the opening they're fine.

The pediatric orthopedic doctor my daughter sees advised us that she needed a shoe with an arch support. I searched everywhere and finally found this pair of shoes! They are comfortable and durable! My toddler can wear them in the summer and winter! She loves shoes - and this is her favorite shoe to wear! I have two pairs for myself as well and love them! I use to have foot pain - and ever since I started wearing Keens, I no longer have any issues with my feet!

You pay for what you get and these shoes are very well made. Both of my kids wear these all summer long and they stand up to a lot of abuse! This is the second summer I have purchased these shoes for my kids, so obviously I'm a fan. That being said, the only down side is that they cause my kids feet to get very smelly! But, you can throw these in the washer and they are good as new. Every mom I know that has a kid with these shoes says they cause the "stinky feet syndrome". Not sure why....but that's a minor complaint. Overall these are GREAT shoes for active kids.
