This dress is fantastic! I bought it in red. It is very flattering on my curvy figure and can be dressed up or down for any event. perfect for a backyard bbq or a big night out, depending on how you accessorize. The fabric is soft and light, without being clingy and I will definitely buy it in more colors. So glad I found it!

I bought this dress in red, and LOVE it! I am usually a size 16/18, so I ordered a large. However, the dress was actually slightly bigger than I expected. I've worn it several times and get many compliments. I will be ordering this dress in other colors, but in a medium instead of large.

I bought this dress in black. I was debating between the small and medium but finally decided on the small. It fits perfectly...just the right length. I didn't find it to be too baggy, not did I feel the neckline plunged too low. The fabric is light and flowing and this dress will be perfect for my upcoming vacation. With the right accessories it can dressed up or dressed down. Love this dress and I am thinking of ordering in another color.

The color was not as represented. poor quality manufacturing. soft fabric but dress is ill fitting for skinny people and just hangs without shape. Newport News items tend to be disappointing and customer service is terrible.

I was Leary to buy online, you know things look different in the pics then they do on the person your buying for. Like most of the younger generation my daughter has a little bit of a poochey stomach and the design of this dress was very flattering for a non-store model stick figure. I'm very happy with it, as is she. The only warning's I have and which was given by others is that the sizes run towards the larger end of the scale so I bought one size smaller than I normally would have and it fit perfectly. plus the material is a little different than It looks but is still fine. not quite a five though my daughter might disagree.

I purchased this dress over the Christmas break and I was not happy with how the dress looked....I am petite and not too curvy and this dress was not flattering at all in fact if your slim i would not buy this dress however it was still cute just not for slender women...

I generally purchase goods and sometimes clothing from companies aligned with Amazon for the shipping deal. After browsing the Newport News site I was bombarded by all sorts of pop-ups and discount emails. So, I decided to give them a try for about $300.00 purchase of clothing. First all of the clothes came backed into a very, very tight non-reusable plastic bag-probably to discourage returns. The quality of the fabrics used were about the poorest I've seen anywhere and I can only imagine where they are being made. I doubt if Amazon exercises any quality controls over these people. Absolutely nothing fit! I felt completely cheated and found a box and shipped it all back to them--of course they're going to charge me $7.00 to ship it back and that was three weeks ago and I STILL haven't received my credit. Perhaps this review area is being seeded by the manufacturers with great reviews--but I can't imagine that anyone would consider wearing any of that cheap and flimsy costume material. I'll stick with the usuals RL Polo Landsend and the like. This was just a horrible experience and I would NEVER EVER recommend a purchase from them-and perhaps I should have read the other reviews, too!
