If you like the Newsboys, this is a must have DVD! We watched this TV special on PAX, and were thrilled when we saw it available on DVD. We have the Shine concert DVD, and thought it was great...until we got this one. The quality is ten times better, the sound is flawless, and it has 4 songs not shown on the TV special. Backstage footage is great. You won't be disappointed...hurry before they're gone!

We recently bought this dvd, and glad it wasn't VHS format... we would have worn it out by now! High quality audio and video from a high quality band. I liked the newsboys before this but after hearing more about them in the interviews and clips (in the extra features) made me respect them even more! These guys walk their talk! Find out what the newsboys did on their trip to the concert! (Hint: Cleveland, snow, jumpercables) A must for any DVD collection.

It's rare I buy a concert DVD/Video, so the fact that I loved this DVD surprised me. I found this DVD after returning home from Ohio for my sister's wedding. While there, we went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As I was walking around, I was disappointed in the lack of Christian musicians there since anyone who knows the history of Christian music knows the impact it's had on society. Anyway, I found this DVD and was shocked.
First, it does the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame justice. Great camera work with the exception of the two girls in the crowd who KNOW they're on camera.
Second, the interviews and behind the scenes is almost as fascinating as the concert. I love learning the history behind songs, bands, etc.
And finally, this DVD is as great a live recording as it is a DVD. Sometimes I'll put it on, turn off the TV, and listen to it as if it were a CD.
The Newsboys recently came to town, and though I got to go, unfortunatly one of our students got sick and had to leave early. I lent this DVD to him and he loved it since it makes the viewer feel like they're there.
All in all, this DVD is awesome. A must buy if you have surround sound. Besides the music, the Newsboys present a spiritual message that touches even the hardest heart.

I am blown away by absolutely everything about this DVD. As well as all the great songs & concert footage, I really liked the interviews with the band members. I was very interested in the behind the scenes info and the explanations about the songs. Do yourself a favour and buy Newsboys: Thrive Live From The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame DVD. You'll be playing it again and again.

This DVD is awesome. I was there so of course it seemed like reliving the memory of the seeing the Greatest Performing Christian Band in CCM perform live, right in front of me. I was at Standup Acquire the Fire the night before, and they rocked the house that night too. The Newsboys are so amazing because for like 8months they tour and still produce a great show every night. It has all the great songs, from Thrive, Shine...The Hits, Step Up To The Microphone, Take Me To Your Leader...it has em all! All of there greatest Hits are on this DVD, and the concert was fantastic. If you dont have the blessing to be able to go to a Newsboys Concert, I urge you to get A Newsboys DVD/VHS, whether it be this one or another one-they are awesome and they have my support all the way!

I play this DVD 3 times a day. You can't get tired of it...at least I can't. They sing so well live that it sounds better than the recorded songs. I attended a Newsboys concert a couple years ago and they were excellent. I wish they'd make a dvd for every concert they do.

This DVD is a pretty cool show of their performance at the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame. While I do get a little bored during the concert part (others obviously didn't), I do really enjoy the band cam as it follows them around.
May the world hear the boys, great role models with great music. Rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(is that enough?)

This is one great product; there is so much, the songs the, extra videos and so much more. Over 3 hours of footage to explore. For those who like lively music of a Christian nature that is a little different I would highly recommend the Newsboys other DVD Shine, but especially this.

Keep up the God work Newsboys and feel free to produce another DVD soon...

This DVD of their March 25th 2002 concert at the Rock and Roll hall of fame is phenomenal. Most songs featured are from the "Thrive" LP although classics like "Shine", "Take me to your Leader", "Breakfast", "Entertaining Angels" as well as "Joy, Who", "It is you". The New Testament Tabernacle choir and Michael Tait make special appearances. The band is full of energy and performs flawlessly. The crowd's reactions and total immersion in the experience is fun to watch. Bonus items include interviews, the band backstage or on the road in various situations (they give a push to a vehicle stuck with dead battery), and comments from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Staff on how impressed they were with the concert. Such a positive band! Highly recommended for Newsboys fans.

Love all the songs on the Cd. So much truth. This shows the Guys at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They play almost every song from the album plus The favorites: "Breakfast", "Entertaining Angels" and "Shine"-of the wich Peter bring a sweet little girl up on stage to jump around with him. This Cd is plain fun but full of spiritual truth. The testimony of these guys never ceases to touch my heart. Their words and melodies cease not to inspire and lift me out of the muck and mire and give me hope to go onward for Jesus Christ. They are a joy to watch and hear.
