5.0 out of 5 stars Great snack, convenience
Love fig newtons! These are really fresh individually sealed, unlike their 1lb counterpart packages that have a tendency to get stale rather quickly. These are worth the extra cost for that reason alone. But, they're grab and go snacks too that are somewhat healthy for you than a regular cookie. They also make great treats for after ballgames and other sports. We...

3.0 out of 5 stars Kind of dry -- too doughy
Either needs more filling or less cookie dough -- as the dough overpowers the filling, and the dough can really be "heavy" on the stomach.

Although all ls forgiven when these Newtons are crumbled a bit, put in a bowl and covered with a generous dollop of Vanilla ice cream.

Most people have had these at sometime in their life so no need to tell you how good they are. Only problem is - when getting this quantity it is hard not to eat them continuously! Too bad the calories can't be quartered :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Tasty treat, February 24, 2009

I love these individual size snacks. These packets are portable and (at least in my case) keep me from eating too many fig newtons.

The only thing I would appreciate is if Amazon would give you an idea of when these items will expire. I really hate wasting food but I can't possibly eat a couple of boxes of fig newtons in a month.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product!, November 11, 2008

I like Fig Newtons and have been missing them since I cut out white flour and enriched flour from my diet. These are made with whole grain and taste very good. The reason I can't give them five stars is because even though the advertisement does not list "high fructose corn syrup" as an ingredient, the actual nutrition label does. This is an ingredient that I try not to have in my food, but it is getting very difficult to find products that don't contain it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta love the Newtons!, August 29, 2008

Arrived fresh. Handy packaging. I take them with me on longer bike rides. Give me as much fuel as a Powerbar or whatever, cost a lot less.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dry and tasteless, February 15, 2011

I should've listened to other reviewers when they said these things are dry. They are very dry and taste nothing like the fig newtons I'm used to. Too bad they couldn't successfully merge the fig newton with whole grains. It just doesn't work

I love Fig Newtons and so does my 7 year old, so I thought I'd try the minis in a convenient size. Unfortunately they don't taste very good. There is hardly any fig inside and they're a bit dry. I'll opt for the regular size Newtons the next time I buy them.

If you are like me you love fig newtons but they are so sweet you get tired of them fast. This way the opened bigger boxes aren't left to get stale.
