1. The DNA Decoders: When reading a car map becomes a problem for Trisha, glasses are the solution. Although she sees herself as a victim of her relatives, Granpa Newton is quick to step in and teach her all about genetics, heredity, and DNA. He also shows her the difference between natural and artificial selection, proving some things are best left in God's hands.
2. The Pollution Solution: When Dad reads about the "worst drought in years" and then is shocked by an outrageous water bill, he decides it's time for a change. A challenge from Mom sends Trisha and Tim strait to Grandpa Newton's door. A family landfill contest, proposed by Grandpa Newton, is all it takes to spark awareness in both Trisha and Tim. But it's only after a ride in Grandpa's "spaceship" that they truly understand their important role as caretakers of the earth. In the end, Trisha and Tim find a new appreciation for God's work.
