It stays on even with sweat and friction.
Half Fast Farmer
It stays in place pretty well (even when wet) and can be removed easily without pulling at the skin or ripping out any hair.
Ellybean
This does both plus you can easily tear off a piece of the tape with you hands.

I had a diabetic abscess that required dressings for almost 8 weeks. During that time I tried every tape recommended for sensitive skin. While this product is not irritation free, it is by far the least aggravating to my skin of all the products I tried. Surgeon was surprised at how well it sticks to the skin and also doesn't aggravate the skin.

This tape is ideal for those with sensitive skin or for those with lots of hair. I used this to secure some dressings on one of my dogs. It removed without pulling her hair and left no sticky residue. She was sedated which probably helped since the sticking power is somewhat less than regular skin adhesives and it is not especially flexible.

This is helpful for the elderly or others sensitive to regular adhesives. It seems to work best where it is not exposed to a lot of action or bending. Recommended.

Anyone that has ever used traditional medical tape to seal a dressing probably has horror stories about its removal. I know I do. I can't tell you how many times I've ripped out hairs and even removed a layer of skin. I might be a masochist, though, because at least I know that my bandages are secure. And this gives me peace of mind. Unlike most, therefore, I was skeptical of Nexcare's sensitive skin low trauma tape. It boasts that it can even be used painlessly on infants and the elderly!

There's not much I can say other than to report my findings. I used the tape to hold down gauze bandages on a recent abrasion. I thought that the tape was good, but not great, in adhesion. Due to its nature, you could reposition it when necessary without disposing of it all together. It wasn't as secure as I'm used to, but it did come up easily and without removing necessary skin cells. Good enough for me. KGHarris, 7/13.

Nexcare BWB-06 Blister Waterproof Bandages, One Size, 6 Count, (Pack of 6)

I've used many medical tapes over the years. Some were other 3M models. This one is noticeably different and better. Being a care giver for my 95 year young mama, medical tape gets used. I hadn't tried this blue one before.

I tested it out on myself first. I peeled and tore some off, it tore like a breeze, and stuck it on me. It went on smooth and easy. I then tried the repositioning and it peeled off with no pain and stuck back again tight. I repeated ten times and it stuck. I didn't go to the limit of adhesion but it seems to stay sticky with easy release. I then took a shower with it on my hand's top side. It survived the shower with minimal edge release.

I stuck some to my chest and peeled it away. I lost three hairs but it didn't hurt just a little pulling pressure. There is a note on the packaging the "9 out of 10 nurses" prefer this tape, who am I to argue. This is really good medical tape. I'll be using this model going forward.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I had to do a home sleep study recently, and had to tape the nasal tubes to my face/cheeks on both sides. I used this tape and was thrilled in the morning when I didn't have to peel off my top layer of skin to get it off. Two small pieces held the two tubes in place all night with the tubes pulled taut between them, and even though I'm a fitful sleeper. I didn't feel that "rashy" feel either after removing the tape, that I feel with other tape because of my sensitive skin. I was also glad that my somewhat oily skin didn't make the tape less sticky...maybe if I had taken it off and reapplied many times it would have lost some hold, but only doing so a couple of times, it continued to hold tight to the skin.

I really like this tape, and plan to always have a roll of it available in my medicine chest.

I am allergic to the adhesive that is in traditional surgical tape. That means that I've always had to use hypo-allergenic paper tape. Those who have tried it will know that the paper tape is not very sticky, and it doesn't stay stuck to skin very well. I was curious about this tape because I would love to have a stronger tape that would itch and leave me with welts. While this tape is by no means perfect, it is a step above the paper tape in terms of stickiness and durability. No, it is still not as sticky as traditional surgical tape, nor is it as hard wearing, but this stuff is definitely better than previous alternatives. In texture it feels more like regular medical tape than the paper tape does. It did not itch and did not leave me with any welts. I'd use this over paper tape any day.

It is always hard to find a medical tape that is easy to remove but stays on as well. This does both plus you can easily tear off a piece of the tape with you hands. Finally, it did not irriate my skin.

I recently burned my thumb and had to put a gauze bandage around my thumb to cover my burn (which had ointment over it). The tape was easy to tear off with my one good hand and the tape held the gauze bandage in place without a problem. I went the entire day and the bandage held fine.

My skin also felt fine. Some tapes make me itch or cause a red mark on my skin, this did not.

The color of this is nice and soothing. When I am not feeling well I look for all the help I can get.

This works and I will use it again.
