About the Author

Author C.J Hudson hails from the east side of Cleveland where he grew up surrounded by crime, violence, and drugs. Determined to not succumb to that way of living, he attended Kent State University for one year. An avid reader for the past eighteen years, C.J was introduced to urban fiction after reading a street novel that strongly resembled stories that he saw on a daily basis in the inner city. That's when he started going to Borders and searching out Street lit books. He then went on a reading barrage and read everything on the shelves. Shortly after, C.J. decided to try his hand at writing. After writing his first manuscript entitled Skeletons, he wrote the manuscript that got him a publishing deal with Life Changing Books, Chedda Boyz. He is currently hard at work on a future novel. He is married with two children.

More About the Author

Author C.J Hudson hails from the east side of Cleveland where he grew up surrounded by crime, violence, and drugs. Determined to not succumb to that way of living, he attended Kent State university for one year. An avid reader for the past eighteen years, C.J was introduced to urban fiction by his future wife when she gave him Carl Weber's Married Men. Although he enjoyed his first urban fiction novel, C.J craved to read about the type of street stories that he saw on a daily basis in the inner city. That's when he started going to Borders and searching out Street lit books. He quickly came across K'wan's classic novel Gangsta. He then went on a reading barrage and read everything from T-Styles to Triple Crown novels. Shortly after that C.J was laid off from his job as a machine opperator. While laid off, C.J. decided to try his hand at writing. After writing his first manuscript entitled Skeletons, he wrote the manuscript that got him a publishing deal, Chedda Boyz. Since dropping his debut novel, C.J has penned eleven more novels.

Author C.J. Hudson stays true to the title of his book - Next Door Nympho because the main character and her best friends are true nymphomaniacs to the fullest. Diamond Robinson can't seem to satisfy her sexual needs - she wants SEX and doesn't care who she gets it from. Every dog has their day, and when Diamond's day comes she is in for a BIG surprise.

This book is full of drama, backstabbing, lies, and secrets. The author does a good job keeping the attention of his readers because there is never a dull moment. Diamond, Essence, and Angie are all holding secrets that are bound to set off a train wreck once they are discovered. I found myself taking a break from this book because I was so mad with these characters, but I keep reading because I knew I was missing out on the nonstop drama.

There were a few typos and grammatical errors but not enough to take your attention from the antics of Diamond and her friends.

I think this is an AWESOME book for young adults, 18 and up. (The safe sex message floats through this book like blood through the veins. The characters are everyday people who we ALL can relate to and I'm sure we all know a variation of them in our own lives. This was a book that I couldn't put down. Hats off to the author for taking us into the world of deceit, lies, sex, STD's, and more, all in the comfort of our own homes!

What a read! While reading this book, I was having a hard time selecting a character that I could relate to, primarily because none of them with the small exception of Angie had a conscious. C.J. Hudson portrayed the lives of three female friends who all had murky past that connected them in various ways.

As the secrets of the past obtrude into the future, decisions have to be made and lives are on the line. Some perish; no one spared, not even the innocent, as the author narrates the tale of the rise and fall of a nymphomaniac.

As the stories of Essence, Angie and Diamond unfold it is easy to see that all that glitters is not gold in these women's lives. With every scientifically describable characteristic of a nymphomaniac, the author conveyed to the readers the requited ideology that was justifiably embraced by each character.

Essence, a woman of sophistication was walking around with a deadly secret that she would only share when she had a penis between her legs. Then and only then was her secret safe. Or so she thought.

Diamond, the ring leader of sexual deviance was an above average, as she would affectionately say "chick". The bones of her 12 year old skeletons have swung open the doors and demandingly rattled every cord of her harmonious sexual escapades.

Angie, the rather mild one of the three, may possibly be the only character, without knowing all the gory details of her past that your heart will go out for in this story of deception and sex.

With fellatio, cunnilingus and head standing back door action filling the pages of this book, sexual intercourse was the catalyst for the most explosive outcome, of revenge, death and mayhem. As I turned each page all I could think of was "Everything that is good to ya is not good for ya". I give this book 5 stars, it's a page turner with very few editing mishaps, well told story and had enough background information on the characters to add drama.

I am going to keep it real...this book had no substance. You got 2 women with HIV running around giving men the virus...I have read his first book so I guess when I read this I was like WTH. He had so many characters and sex scenes that he did not have chance to develop a good story line at all. The writing just seemed all over the place like his focus was meeting his editor deadline than developing a good story.Moral of the story I get it is practice safe sex,but what else is there? Better luck next time CJ. Still a fan just not of this book.

I will say this book is erotica with a message. Meet three friends Diamond, Essence, and Angie who all have their own issues and secrets. Each ladies life has so much drama going on I didn't want to stop reading. This book is filled with erotic scenes and in the end things come full circle. Trifling people, sex, backstabbing, and double-crossing are all things you will read about in this book. This book had a nice easy flow to read. I didn't notice any errors which I loved. I would definitely recommend reading this book. I will read books by C.J. Hudson in the future.

I give this books 10 stars, and recommend everyone male and female to read it. This book touches on a lot of sensitive subjects that need to start being addressed and makes you question just how well do you really know your friends. Meet 3 young ladies that will take you through a hell that will keep your mouth open from beginning to end. A certified page turner.
