If you travel expressways and are pulling a trailer, 5th wheel, have an R.V. or large truck, this book is a must. It not only tells you what types of fuel, food, motels and stores are at each exit but highlights in red print places that accomodate large vehicles. No more hunting for a restaurant, etc. where you can park.

Our 2006 motorhome now has almost 50,000 miles on it, and without this book, I'm sure that we would have had real "what's at this exit" arguments long ago. As soon as we began using this book, we could plan our diesel fuel stops, and know which side of the road it was on. (Not always too clear on GPS) This is our 3rd issue of this valuable little addition to our RVing peace and quiet at times when you just got to find fuel, food,or even a Walmart!!!
Well worth the money, and extremely informative. We had to get the 2010 edition because all the pages were falling out of our 2009 copy. We circle places we've found to be interesting, just in case we may come that way again. Happy trails to all you rving guys and gals.

This book has it all! I can chart my next road trip and know exactly what is at each exit all the way there! No more guessing about what types of gas stations or lodging or restaurants there will be. I can even tell how far it is to the next rest stop. No one should go on a trip without this book!

This is a great book to have while traveling with our large travel trailer, we can look ahead and see which exit has my favorite kind of gas or restarant and has when it is in RED type we know we should have room to fit the travel trailer. This saves a huge amount of stress.

I deliver RV's with my 1 TON diesel powered truck. This guide is great! It has the RV accessable services in red. So, all I have to do is look for the red print to know where I need to stop and what is at the "Next Exit". Will not travel again without it, wheather in my truck, my mini-van or traveling on my motorcycle, I will know how to plan my trip.

We just returned from our first road trip with The Next Exit, and I will never travel without it again. Unless part of your road-trip enjoyment is the mystery of where you can upload or download your next cup of coffee, you will be glad you spent the few dollars for this guide. It even includes rest area information, if you'd rather bypass the McDonald's and cut to the chase.
We thought our GPS would do the same job, but it doesn't. I love technology, but there are times when you just need a book. Buy it.

I was introduced to "The Next Exit" book several years ago by a co-worker. Working for a major utility, one of our jobs is to provide assistance during a major storm (ice, wind, hurricane, etc.) to other utilities to restore electrical service to their customers. As such, we sometimes travel, with a large contingent of linemen and support staff, to areas that we know nothing about as to fuel stations, lodging or food. These books have been of great assistance in all these areas. We are able to plan ahead for fuel and food stops at truck plazas that can accommodate our group of 30 to 50 line trucks with 2 men per truck. In the past we would use just local maps of the area, but they never provided, by exit, the detailed ammenities that are shown in "The Next Exit" book. The only thing that comes close to providing this same information is a GPS unit. However, it is diffcult to plan for fuel/food stops with a GPS unless you know exactly the exit or city that you are heading to. "The Next Exit" book helps us plan each stop and at a much lower cost than a GPS ($14.95 vs. $250.00+). We plan on continuing to use these books for each future trip.

We are RVers and purchase a new The Next Exit about every 2 years. The Next Exit and a GPS make road trips much more fun. This book is easy to use and helps you find gas, food, coffee, stores and much more. Easy to use and really comprehensive and detailed. Wouldn't travel without it.
