I was compelled to write to you about your fabulous book...This was our bible. We felt very confident and it made our trip so much more relaxed. --Ilene M.

Love your publication. Would rather use the Next EXIT than GPS. Thank you. --P. B. Carson

I love my Next EXIT & get a new one every year!! I wouldn't drive without it--we have a long Renegade Motor home and trailer. Next EXIT is a life saver for travel stops alone.! Thank you so much for this great book! --W. Richardson

This version, 2013 Next Exit interstate exit directory is okay...HOWEVER, I prefer the Good Sam Club publication, Exit Now. I have not been able to find the 2013 Exit Now. The Next Exit is alphabetical by state, while the Exit Now book is by interstate number. Example, when driving west to east on I-40, from Arizona crossing the state line into New Mexico, using Next Exit just turn the page! BUT, the Next Exit book when driving the same route, one must turn from pg. 19 to pg. 295, to continue the route!

There are some businesses in the book that are in my area and have been closed for years, I wonder how many others that are not in my area are in the same position.

My mother-in-law has an RV and picked this book up years back. It is quite helpful if driving a large vehicle, or towing, to know which exits have the restaurants, Wal-Marts (for overnight or in need of a large parking lot), gas stations that have pull-thru capability or Diesel, and rest areas. The only wish I had was that it was extended to state highways and not just interstates. This copy (2013) was an updated gift for her for Christmas.

If you'r on the road in unfamiliar territory you need this book. I use it to avoid useless exits, find fuel, restaurants and so on. I can't believe I waited so long to get this.

This book is great. It guides you not to get off at exits which do not meet your needs. For instance, diesel fuel, discount motels, etc.
You know how you get off at some exits and drive and drive? It won't happen with this book.

This book is great- starting to need a bathroom, something to eat or a large service station for a RV? It is easy to use and gives you beforehand knowledge of how many businesses are at an exit.

After driving from Washington to Arizona in the winter and only able to depend on freeway signs for exit information, I was determined not to repeat the experience. We had The Next Exit in hand on the drive back, and we were far less stressed and felt more in control of where we exited for meals and breaks. The book will also tell you which way to turn once you exit if you want to head toward a particular restaurant or site. As stated by other reviewers, be aware that the exit information relates to the freeways and major highways, so if being adventurous on the small or remote roads is your choice, this book probably won't help you much. For our purposes, it was an excellent purchase.
