I had ordered another exit book before, and it actually had the map of each interstate with the exit numbers right on the map. This one is not the same. It jumbles all the exits together and doesn't show you where on any map where the exits are located. I was extremely disappointed.

I'm disappointed in this book. Food, Accomodations, Fuel, and everything else are jumbled together in a single listing. Exit Authority (apparently out of print) gives easy visual access to each category of roadside establishments.

Very poorly presented. When driving down the highway, you want to know when you will arrive at a Truck stop, Rest stop, Fuel Stop, Lodging, etc. You need to classify all the things at each Exit by category rather than just lumping them all together. The Old Exit Authority was perfect. I only wish they were still publishing as this publication is of little value.

A useful reference, but the text is not well formatted so it's hard to read when you're in a hurry.
It doesn't distinguish between gas stations, fuel stops, and truck stops, and important consideration when you're driving a big rv or towing a trailer.

This book came in so handy on a trip to Myrtle Beach for Bike Week! One of our group cut his hand severely (pushing a broken cycle) and needed stitches. Being from Pennsylvania and having this happen in North Carolina, we had no idea where the closest hospital was. We got out Next Exit and found a hospital 3 exits down. The book easily fits in a saddle bag and can truely be a life saver!

My wife and I drive a great deal and use this book without fail.

We often stop sooner or drive a little further to get exactly the type of accommodation and meals we want.

If you travel the highways of America, this book should be in your car. Going to eat in about 1 1/2 hours? Figure out about how far you'll drive in that time and pick out an exit and restaurant ahead of time. It's really inexpensive for the value and functionality of the book.

We bought our Motor Coach in the begining of summer and I found this book at the book store. We did travel a lot and this book is very helpful. There are some exits that do not say when things are there but if you watch the Bill boards you can just fill it in your book for the next trip
