This review is from: Next Generation Wireless Applications (Hardcover)
Whenever an author spends half his words telling you what he's going to tell you later, you know he doesn't have much to tell you. I saw a new update is out on this one and perhaps it's been improved but I think most people would be best served reading product descriptions and reviews in the Apple App Store.

This review is from: Next Generation Wireless Applications: Creating Mobile Applications in a Web 2.0 and Mobile 2.0 World (Hardcover)
This provides timely and cogent analysis and in depth knowledge of today's Web 2.0 and Mobile 2.0 environment. If your a CEO, CFO, COO, Architect or Developer at any company in the wireless space, you need this to survive. I am sending copies to all my key associates this is a MUST READ. The first chapter inspired me and the following 15 chapters back it up, with excellent detail and through knowledge from a highly experienced insider. If you want your people to 'GET IT' while all your competitors languish in ignorance then get this book.

By far, the best wireless book I have read.
It's key features are - it's independence, scope and practical insights. Very detailed but also an enjoyable read. I especially liked it because it helped me clarify many concepts independently (i.e. you can read the vendor's documents but they are biased by definition). Have no hesitation in recommending it |
