From the beautiful "Green Eyed Girl" to the haunting "There Stands the Glass", Ted Hawkins delivers one of my most favored albums in my collection. I was first introduced to him years ago through a colleague. I have purchased more than 7 CDs for friends, family and myself (as replacements for the ones loaned). He has been my companion on long road trips. I enjoy every song on this album. Mr. Hawkins mixes blues with a bit of country to blend the right ambience for just about any music fan. I would highly suggest this cd. I am sure it will soon become a favored in your collection.

One of the best albums of 1994,

The first time I heard that voice I was hooked.The song was "Long As I Can See The Light". Upon hearing the rest of the disc I knew I had heard nothing like this before. Every song is a classic . The vocals are the most distinctive and unique I've ever heard. I only wish I had seen Mr. Hawkins in person.

I first caught Ted Hawkins on the BET on Jazz (big dish-G7-21)network. From the first song, I was hooked. It's hard to categorize him, except to say that each song has a deep meaning, coming from his soulful voice. I never met the man, but I miss him; the world lost a great one, when he passed on.
