Editorial Reviews

Seth Glier is a 21 year-old singer/songwriter/musician from Massachusetts who's quickly established himself on the national scene, performing over 200 shows a year. His sophomore album for MPress, The Next Right Thing, draws direct inspiration from Seth's frequent visits to such unlikely venues as elementary schools, nursing homes and hospitals, where he frequently performs his unique brand of story-telling pop. Reminiscent of Billy Joel and Elton John as a pianist, Glier nonetheless brings a contemporary edge to this self-produced, sophisticated collection which will appeal to fans of David Gray, Gavin DeGraw and Brandon Flowers. Produced by Seth Glier & Ryan Hommel; Mixed by Grammy® Winner Kevin Killen (Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel) and John Shyloski (Stephen Kellogg).

What an incredible voice and approach to a song! Sort of a unique blend of Billy Joel, and dare I say it, I dare, Adam Levine! ( Maroon Five) The songs are beautifully written, with a great deal of passion put into each lyric. Some of the lyrics bely the age of the artist. I was surprised. The backrounds are great, and you can tell that he and Ryan Hommel spend a great deal of time together by the way they blend, naturally and beautifully.

"The Next Right Thing" is a must hear CD from a fantastic songwriter! Seth Glier has an amazing voice and a unique approach to writing songs! If you get the chance to see him live do so! I'm also a big fan of his first CD "The Trouble With People" and I'm happy to add this new CD to my collection.

This cd is amazing! The music is full of emotion and really very touching. What a sweetie Seth must be! If I found someone who could write like this about me, I'd be set for life. The kicker is that I happened to see Seth live last month and he blew me away. So entertaining and fun. Worth even penny!

I was introduced to Seth Glier back in 2009 with the release of his album "The Trouble With People", and have been following him ever since. His voice is amazing and his songwriting reminds me of Billy Joel. His new record "The Next Right Thing" is fantastic. Not one to miss.

This is the next right album. Seth Glier and his guitarist Ryan Hommel are the next right performers. There's nothing like seeing them live, interacting with each other and the audience as if they're kicking back with you in your living room. But the music also stands on its own melodically, lyrically and emotionally. He hits the sweet spot in all three realms. These two are on their way to big things!

I saw Seth Glier live for the first time with his first release "The Trouble with People". Since then I have been hooked. This new release, "The Next Right Thing" is even better. He has a wonderful voice and the melody and emotion that is portrayed in every song is just amazing! He plays the piano beautifully and he is so talented and young. This is one CD that I want to listen to over and over again and so will you.
