About the Artist
Steve's first CD as a leader, "Next Stop, Seelie Court", is a fun, happy blast of traditional and original tunes. The recording features some of New Yorks finest musicians, including Donal Clancy, Martin and Marie Reilly, Mary Rafferty, and Scottish fiddler Bonnie Rideout. While the CD is rhythmic and lively, its all about the tunes, the percussion driving the music but never overpowering the rest of the musicians.
