1.0 out of 5 stars frustrating, July 21, 2009
This review is from: The Next Step, Advanced Medical Coding 2009 Edition, 1e (Paperback)
The text contains many cases to code, however, the answer section contains answers for only 1/2 the cases! When one compares the answers in the text with answers in the instructor's version (which has answers to all cases), there are numerous discrepancies. The editing of the text seems to have been non existent! The author repeatedly tells one to carefully read the notes in the code books, yet some answers violate those notes. Editing should have picked up many of the errors contained in the text.

Can be confusing, has errors in it. Editors should have edited it better.would not recommend for a college coding class.
