5.0 out of 5 stars Insight into Indian education, June 8, 2000
This review is from: Next Steps: Research and Practice to Advance Indian Education (Paperback)
*Next Steps* is a collection of essays on different, important aspects of the state of education for Native students across the country today. The breadth of materials present in the essays and the overall insight they offer is impressive. Although it does focus more on current practices of Indian education than future goals and ideas as the title implies, it is an important book. It is also very nice to see that all essay authors are Native themselves. Anyone interested in Indian education or teaching Native students should by all means read this book.
