5.0 out of 5 stars Tetris Enthusiasts Beware - This Game is Addictive
When I couldn't find Tetris on the Internet for free, I decided to buy it. This particular version of Tetris is great because not only do you get the original version of Tetris, but you get some newer versions too. Even the music is pretty good. (You have to have the CD-ROM in there while playing the game to hear the music, however. I tried just playing the game off...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not compatible
When I placed the order, I was so excited to find my title that I did not see an ad as large as the one that is currently on this page, therefore, I missed the fine print to see that The Next Tetris not ME and/or XP compatible. Dissappointed! Cannot play!

Hours of fun for just $9.99 is a great deal, in my opinion. Have a nice day!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Cool If You Like Tetris, July 31, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The Next Tetris (Jewel Case) (CD-ROM)
This is massive Tetris, with sounds, variations, etc. A small draw back is that you have to have the CD in for the full effect of sounds and what not. Otherwise, it is great for tetris lovers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Working with Windows 7 (just skip the DirectX install), May 30, 2011

This review is from: The Next Tetris (Jewel Case) (CD-ROM)
This 1 or 2-player Atari variant of Tetris is great, and is working with Windows 7 (tested with 32-bit Windows 7, but not sure about 64-bit platform) -- just skip (reply with 'No') the DirectX portion of the install and you're good to go for Windows 7 (since the OS already has a more recent version of DirectX included). The music (CD-audio) portion of the game will only be heard if the Atari CD is physically mounted in your optical drive. You can play the game without the disc if you like, but you won't have music. You can also mount a different audio CD to hear something other than Atari's music.
