I truly loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I cried several times. Books that bring on emotions as you read them are really good books. Elizabeth Peters was done with her going no where marriage. After raising three children she was alone most of the time. Her husband traveled all the time and when he was home he didn't pay any attention to her. She decided she was leaving. She packed some clothes and got a room at a hotel in town. There she met a eight year old handicapped boy named Jake, and his dad, Aiden Roberts. They took to each other instantly. Aiden's wife left him because she couldn't deal with a handicapped son, now after years of being apart, he wanted out. These two were destined to be together, but the battle alone the way and the heartache will have you so up and down you will really love the ending. Congratulations on such a wonderful book, this is the first of yours I have read but it won't be the last. A GREAT read

Let me start by saying that this book was an emotional roller coaster for me. This book is about happy endings. How we get our happy endings, and the journey that takes us to them.

Aiden and Elizabeth meet each other at a difficult time in both their lives and things don't get any easier from there. The book weaves an intricate tale of woes, struggles, loss and love as they struggle to find one another. Will they each be able to leave their pain behind in an attempt to move forward with one another? One can only hope as they dive deeper into the book.

Each page had me hoping, or gasping, or nearly crying. There was so much going on but not so much that you got lost in the book. I would strongly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in a good book. But if you're not interested in getting a little choked up, you might want to put this on the back burner for a minute.

This is a gripping story of love and loss. The characters are beautifully flawed with amazing strength and weakness. They meet while they are both coming to the realization that their respective marriages are over. This is not a case of marital infidelity. There are additional tragedies that they have to deal with separately and together but ultimately they end up with their HEA.

I love this emotional read by Linda L. Picl. You can easily relate to the characters, and the automatic connection between Liz and Aiden so real. I was really cheering them on from the get go.

A wonderful read for those times when you are looking for something sweet, mixed with angst, followed up with a happily ever after.

Everyone wants their happily ever after, right? So do Aiden and Liz, but the people they thought were their soul mates, turned out to be the worst thing that could ever happen to them.

They both have personal struggles to work through before they try it as a couple. Can they leave their baggage behind to find one another, and more importantly, can they hold on if they do?

Linda Picl's first book tells a very complicated story, yet she is able to keep from confusing you at all. Linda makes you fall in love with Jake, Aiden, Jeff, and Mrs. Roberts, and makes you hate Jessica and Vince.

You can't help but fall in love with the books lead characters, and root for them during every struggle. Mildly sexual, just use your imagination if you want more. I would recommend this book to any of my friends looking to start reading romance.

A Great Read…

*I received this book free in exchange for an honest review*
This was a sweet, redeeming romance. I would have thoroughly enjoyed it, but the copy I got was horribly edited. There were many errors. It may have been a badly converted file, I'm not sure, it's only based on what was sent to me to review.
Based on the story itself, this would have been a 4 star romance. The characters were pretty well developed but I wasn't completely feeling attached to them. I don't mind romances involving single parents, but what I don't like is them taking a whole central point to the story. I want a romance.
Unfortunately, because the copy I have is so messed up, I really found it hard to get through the book. I couldn't just sit down and enjoy it.
