More About the Author

Paul Zane Pilzer completed college in three years and received his M.B.A. from Wharton Graduate Business School in fifteen months at age twenty-two. At age twenty-four, he was appointed a professor at New York University. While employed as Citibank's youngest officer at age twenty-two and its youngest vice-president at twenty-five, Pilzer started several entrepreneurial businesses and earned his first million before age twenty-six.He has been an appointed economic adviser in two presidential administrations. In 1985 he testified before Congress, warning that the S & L problem would grow to a $200 billion-dollar disaster. Congress didn't listen, and in 1989 Pilzer wrote Other People's Money (Simon & Schuster), which was critically acclaimed by The New York Times, The Economist magazine, and Nobel prizewinner John Kenneth Galbraith.Pilzer's second book, Unlimited Wealth (Crown Publishers, Inc., 1991, 1994), explained how we live in a world of unlimited physical resources because of rapidly advancing technology. After reading Unlimited Wealth, the late Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart, said that he was "amazed at Pilzer's business capacity" and his "ability to put it into layman's terms." Unlimited Wealth has been published in Japan, Taiwan, and the Russian Republic. But the greatest accolades have come for God Wants You to Be Rich, which appeared on The New York Times Business bestseller list, was featured on the cover of national magazines such as Success, and was the subject of a front-page story in The Wall Street Journal.Today, Pilzer is a contributing editor to two economic journals, an adjunct professor at New York University, and the Founder and Publisher of Zane Publishing, Inc., a leading CD-ROM educational publisher. He has been a regular commentator on CNN and National Public Radio, and has appeared several times on the Larry King Live! television program.

5.0 out of 5 stars 77% of the population is obese, January 24, 2011

Paul Zane Pilsner has predicted major trends in America, and most of his projections hit the mark! The wellness industry is growing do to the lack of exercise and eating balanced meals. The fast food industry is causing a serious over weight problem with over 77% of Americans now over weight...it is an epidemic! Just the weight loss industry alone is now estimated at 60 billion. Over 98 million a day is spent on these type products. I just read that only four states now require Physical Ed in Schools. My hat is off to Paul for being a sounding trumpet loud and clear.

More and more people are out of work and cannot afford health care. Wouldn't it be humanitarian if people became aware of better health through proper nutrition and excercise and brand new products like Monavie's new RVL weight loss and meal replacemnt program...high nutrition and low calories. Check out [...] and see what you think? Thank you Paul for caring!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful information!, March 9, 2009
This review is from: The Next Trillion (Audio CD)
Paul hits the nail right on the head with this CD. We can't ignore the fact that Americans aren't taking the best care of themselves, and that for many, a heart attack, diabetes, a cancer scare, etc., is the only way to "get through" to them. Prevention and a focus on wellness is the key. It's much better (and cheaper) to remain well, then it is to get well.

I am in the baby-boomer group and I do what I can to stay well. I am also in the business of wellness, and this CD is a perfect tool to use when sharing the importance of taking care of one's self.

The stats can be a bit alarming, but that's where the money can be made, also. The front of the baby-boomer "pack" are especially looking for ways to maintain their youthfulness, which may include hair & skin care, weight management products, energy, memory, eyesight, etc.

Purchase this CD if you want a piece of that trillion dollar "pie" for yourself!

1.0 out of 5 stars Out dated, March 4, 2009

This book is out dated. The author was convinced that by now we would all buying everything from Amazon, and not setting foot into stores anymore, which was the common view at the time. He also thought that by now money spent on wellness would surpass money spent on healthcare. Oops. Great idea, would make a HUGE difference if that were the case, however we aren't even close yet.....
