This book was very helpful to me as an engineering student. Starting off doing building surveys for the first time, I had a lot of questions on what specifically to look for. This is a well organized quick guide to building inspections organized by both occupancies and hazards. The ends of the chapters provide applicable codes and a list of sources used so you know where to go for more detailed information. The books size makes it easy to take along on inspections as well. Informative, easy to use, and concise. A must have if you're new to building surveys.
