I am a biassed lover of Nhop and his playing. Why? I lived in Copenhagen during the 1960's when Neils was a very young man as was I. In front of the ever wonderful Danish Radio Big Band this is an excellent example of what Denmark produces in the jazz world. If you love big bands then this is another one to add to your collection but listen to the solos of Niels -Henning ' and if you can go and find any of his Cds in a small group setting. Either way you will not be disappointed. Nhop died at the age of 57 and the world lost one of the best bass players in the jazz world. Highly enjoyable.
