I began using this product in the single package size (30 filters). After a few weeks of testing, I now order this 6 pack size, it makes more "sense". They may give some of us a false sense of security, but once you see the gunk that they deny entrance to your body, I'm sure you'll be as convinced as I am & begin using them..
I have been smoking for about 12 years (I'm almost 30), and the last 3 years, every time I went to the dentist, I had at least 4 cavities. These filters trap a lot of tar, and I get about 6-7 cigs out of one filter, so a 6 pack lasts a while. The reduction in tar is much better for your teeth. However, I also switched to an electric toothbrush (Philips Sonicare) about the same time as I started to use these filters, and I hardly ever floss. This week, I went for a cleaning (dreading it because I was expecting another 4 cavities and I had that Oh No What's Next feeling in the pit of my stomach), but there were zero!
So, yes, we're still idiots for smoking, but these filters make it better. Also, I started working out a lot more maybe 4 months ago (biking), and when I do that or yardwork, I do not get nearly as winded as I used to before using these filters. The tar is what really does the damage. I do not cough nearly as much as I used to before using these filters.
I left off one star because each 30 pack may have a few duds. If you see a bubble in the bottom part where your mouth goes, chances are when you suck on it (I test each one without putting a cig inside) the pull is very difficult and it won't work. If you can pull easily, the filter is good.Read more ›
Hope I quit.
There probably isn't one cure that works for everyone. I tried Nicorette, the nicotine patch and Chantix. I was flabbergasted that success could come from such a low-tech smoking cessation product. They're super-economical, too!

Bought this in January 2015. It does what it's supposed to do but the filters keep cracking for no apparent reason. Read morePublished 10 hours ago by Wale
I know this product is working because: 1) if I try to have a cigarette without it, the increase in nicotine gives me a splitting headache, and; 2) the tar not going into my lungs... Read morePublished 12 days ago by D. Wyatt
Packs arrived as scheduled. Tried them and am fine with the filters. Absolutely collects quite a bit of tar and definitely shows what is going into the lungs. Read morePublished 1 month ago by CMK
