From the Publisher

The Nice Guy™ (John Fate) used to be pathetic (trust us!). He was so bad in college that not only wouldn’t girls sleep with him, not only wouldn’t girls date him, but girls wouldn’t even give him the time of day! Why? Because he’s a Nice Guy! So Fate set out to become friends with dozens of women, to understand first-hand what women are looking for.

Fate has since started The Nice Guys’ Institute™, and recruited The Nice Guys™, a group of guys dedicated to helping other Nice Guys make themselves more attractive to women WITHOUT turning into jerks! The Nice Guys™, through their books, courses, audio series, video series, special reports, newsletters, columns, speaking, and coaching, have taught thousands of Nice Guys how to meet more women, have more sex, and build stronger relationships. Now they want to teach it to you! –The Nice Guys’™ Institute

3.0 out of 5 stars Tread with CAUTION, May 2, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Nice Guys' Guide to Getting Girls: You CAN be a Nice Guy & STILL Attract Women! (Paperback)
Tread carefully when reading any book from a "Nice Guy" perspective. I can tell you from much experience, ranging from higher prize women in bars, or shy, sweet educators that prefer coffee houses, women reject men that are nice guys. Do not show your feelings; do not share anything negative regarding yourself, your parents. This holds true even a few months into a relationship. Listening to women, begin caring, being considerate, being honest in every situation is self-destructive to your relationship. I have been dump[ed so much for being a nice guy, "you're nice, but I feel no chemistry." (translation: you're the opposite of sexy). You will continue to be loved and respected by your grandmother, mother, aunt and so on. -but never by a woman that will love you.
You should instead buy the books of Rom Wills. He is not negative or disrespectful toward women; but he is realistic. He teaches what all fathers should have taught their sons. His advice is especially valuable in our society in which fathers have been absent from our lives and males' negative traits have been emphasized.

2.0 out of 5 stars money making scam, March 31, 2005
By
This review is from: The Nice Guys' Guide to Getting Girls: You CAN be a Nice Guy & STILL Attract Women! (Paperback)
While I haven't read it yet, their first book, "Make Every Girl Want You" is supposed to be pretty good. "The Nice Guy's Guide. . . " however is mostly a money making scam. I read it in a couple of hours, and got some useful pointers, but lots and lots of references back to the first book. Also lots of suggestions that I should check their web site to buy more stuff online. Additionally, no where on the cover material does it say anything like "this is the 3rd book in the series on how to get girls, and you should check out the other two first". Pretty misleading.

1.0 out of 5 stars "business idea" TM, January 15, 2005

Wise Guy TM (Vancouver Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Nice Guys' Guide to Getting Girls: You CAN be a Nice Guy & STILL Attract Women! (Paperback)
If you are interested in the subject read "Make Every Girl Want You" TM from the same authors. The other books were clearly written to make more money with hundreds of annoying references to "Make Every Girl Want You" TM and "The Nice Guys' Guide" TM of which you should buy all books CD's and DVD's if you truly want to learn something (?are they nuts?). Ironically, the authors never forgets to add the TM to every title of their "product range". This book is their profit and your loss since it really doesn't tell you anything new.
