5.0 out of 5 stars Best underground band out there
These guys rock beyond rock. If anyone is looking for the best in underground bands then you don't need to look any further. These guys are the best. I seen them Live and they are even better than on the cd. Richie the front man is an insane individual and is going places. If you don't have this cd you need it.

1.0 out of 5 stars definately not 5-stars
Decent CD, not all that its hyped up to be, definately gets boring after awhile but if you like 80's hair bands, the singer sounds a lot like them and this cd would be good for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Knuckle Sandwich's "Nice" Finds Room To Breathe In Punk Rock, June 19, 2002

Maybe the strongest adjective that should be employed to describe Knuckle Sandwich's debut wide release is "farsighted". With heavy metal reborn and punk rock sliding into a post-Epitaph slump of Bad Religion and Rancid clones, it would seem like a horrendous time to break an enterprising new band. Not so, really, since Knuckle Sandwhich, at heart, are a celebration of rock and roll without self-inflicted boundaries. Punk chops slam headlong into melodic metal riffs. Energetic drums and thick foundation bass provide a workable frame for strong melodies and intriguing vocal heights and valleys. That's not to say this is a perfect release: opening track (and lead single) "American Song" is oddly free of the band's trademark irony, and as such comes off as somewhat stilted. As a whole, however, this is a seductive album full of unexpected turns and vigorously pursued musical ideas. Well worth the investment for anyone bored silly of cashed-through emo and flagrantly scenist "punk" (e.i. Victory/Epitaph/Drive Through...etc).

5.0 out of 5 stars Freakin Awesome Band, February 22, 2003

This band is about the gratest band in the history of our "fair" state. They will rock you silly nomatter what your taste in music. The Lyrics are brilliant and witty, the drums are heavy and fast, the bass thick and rattling, guitar is great, and the vocals are delivered with a punch. I guess thats why they call their local scene "Punch records". This band will rock your sox off the songs wont leave you for days. Excellent CD i definatly recomend it. If you get the time visit their website they just released their first video. ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Give Me More, June 27, 2002

This cd is great. The lyrics are hardcore and easy for anyone can relate to their message. Even without the vocals the music is awesome...especially the guitar. You can feel it through your soul. Hope to hear a lot more from this band.

5.0 out of 5 stars Show me the Rock, June 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Nice (Audio CD)
Knuckle Sandwich is a catchy blend of rock-punk, with roots in hardcore, tossed together with the sing along choruses of 80's hair metal. The music combined with "in your face lyrics" infiltrates the brain and remain long after you stop listening to the band.
