Great local band with a well-done debut., March 16, 2009
This review is from: Nice Use of Brown (Audio CD)
This Mandown is not to be confused with the other releases on this site, as well as Digstation and iTunes. This Mandown is from Mobile, AL. They are quite a band, too, as they have finally released a debut album. It's a great listen. Locke's vocal are truly unique in their own right, ESPECIALLY compared to the likes of other talentless acts remotely near this genre. The intricate guitar and drum playing work hand-in-hand very well. The bass playing is very well done, too!
Thankfully, the band isn't just a case of being talented. The songs themselves are very well written. Energy and spunk('d) are abundant throughout the album.
This is for those who like Incubus, Dream Theater, and a bit of Primus in their modern rock. Great album from a great band.
