It appears to me Leigh Burke did his research and gathered the best of other niche internet marketing books and paraphrased them into a nice little Internet marketing book of his own. If you have read any of Rosalind Gardner's books you will see the similarities. Although there is nothing new or enlightening in this rehash of niche marketing, Burke does put it together in an easy to read, well covered, condensed topic. It's a good read if it's your first niche marketing book and want to learn about the subject and the steps. However, If you are already in the game and have read other older successful marketer's books, then you'll find yourself wet fingering your way quickly to the last page.

This kind of book is long overdue. With all the hype and scam artists in the internet marketing industry, it's refreshing to find somebody who tells it how it is, and backs it up with real life examples and case studies.

I have some experience in IM, but still found myself thinkging "Why didn't I think of that?"

Leigh has a great way with words and can distil a complex topic or technique down into simple, easy to follow steps that anybody can follow.

I am looking forward to Leigh's other books planned for release, as I found Niche Internet Marketing a thoroughly enjoyable read and would recommend it to anybody starting out online, or experienced internet marketers who want a fresh new perspective.

I must say this is one of the best investments that I have ever made and I own a lot of books. I have shelves and shelves of books on various subjects.

I like books that I can learn something from and put it into use and Leighs book went over the top with my learning curve.

I have put his ideas to use in developing my niche marketing programs. In fact I stayed up late reading and doing while reading.

The advice in this book is totally valuable to anyone seeking to earn a income from internet marketing!

I recently purchased Niche Internet Marketing! from Amazon.
I did find the book was packed with a lot of useful information.
I also found a fair amout of outdated information... It highly recomend Overture. I have found this to be a obsolute program. It also mentions Nichebot as a free service. This is not a free service as far as I have found. It also mentions outsourcing over seas. I would guess that this book was proof read by such. It has more spelling errors then a 6th grade book report. The worst I have ever read from.
My intentions are not to discount this book, but to give it honest viewpoint. As I said it did have a fair amount of good information.
I really think it should be proof read and updated if it is to be charged, as a first rate book.
I do not feel I recieved my monies worth.

The first paragraph of the Introduction has a blaring typo "Therefore, you what you have received is a...." Even if the content was marginally informative, I was so distracted by the errors and amateurish writing to benefit from the information. It looks like a high school kid that thinks he can write wrote it. I am guessing it was never proofread by anyone prior to publishing. If it was they should be fired.

There are a few good tips and the book includes some information on sites that I was unaware of. But it is certainly not worth the money or your time.

Can I first say that I own and have read most of the best business books on the market.

In my opinion, what makes a good business book is strategies and real life examples that you can take and implement yourself.

Niche Internet Marketing, is more like a workbook where you are given a task to do at the end of each chapter. I love this kind of learning, it helps me to focus, and ensures I retain what I have learnt.

The second aspect of a great business book, is the ability to use it as a reference guide. That way, you get value out of your purchase again and again. I am new to Internet Marketing, so I now have Niche Internet Marketing next to my PC so I can go back and check things as I execute my own marketing strategies for my online businesses.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews for the books I purchase, but this book was top notch, so I thought I would share my experience with it to the world!

If you're new to Internet Marketing, this would be an excellent purchase to get you off the ground and running.

Leigh Burke's Nice Internet Marketing has had a major impact on improving my emarketing strategies and make my business boom up to the second rank on 74% of Google's request and achieve a turnover of over 1,5M within 18 months from the start. My copy is stuffed with bookmarks, so many are Leigh's' relevant and smart recommendations.

I've offered this book to many friends in the business as a major guideline to helping them. Some of these tricks are so good (ie. MiniNet Structure), that I've ended up having one of my mini site on the first page of the most search for keyword, along with my main site.

A great read and must a read for any online business whether already existing or starting up.

If typos and errors bother you, don't buy this book. It will drive you crazy. I'm on chapter 3 and have seen plenty..makes me wonder how much effort and thought went into the book. That said, I have no other books on the subject (or personal experience), so I am learning a little bit. Remains to be seen how useful it is.

Good book for technical advice. Not a pleasure read, but then again, it's about starting/running a business. Meets my expectations.

The book is a great resource. It is perfect for the beginner or experienced internet marketer. I've been building websites for years now and got several ideas I want to try out.
