I have seen several versions of Nicholas Nickleby and this is by far the best. Yes, the film is a bit grainy but still well perserved. I actually purchased a copy of this moive after viewing it on video on demand. The actors are really good. The uncle's ending is appropriate and dramatic. I highly recommend to any Dickens lover and/or anyone who enjoys classic movies.
