I bought this saw to prepare roughouts for my wood carving hobby. Although it does work well enough, there was a piece of sharp metal where the handle is attached to the frame.

After slicing open my finger, I filed down the area which is what should have been done at the factory before packaging. If this is how Nicholson finishes its products, I would certainly not recommend purchasing anything with the Nicholson name on it.
