4.0 out of 5 stars It has the Snow Miser and Heat Miser Songs, need I say more?, January 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Nick At Nite: A Classic Cartoon Christmas, Too (Audio CD)
The ONLY reason I purchased this CD was because it contained the Snow Miser and the Heat Miser Songs from "The Year Without a Santa Claus". These 2 tracks are GREAT! But, unfortunately there are about 3 tracks that seem VERY much out of place. The Ren and Stimpy Track, the Madaline Track, and the Begginers Bible Track are FAR from timeless. They are very Poor when compared to the other Rankin/Bass Songs on this MARVELOUS CD. The track from Mr. Magoo was a hidden treat for me, I grew up watching this special each year but had forgotten the songs. I have the "Rudolph, Frosty, and Friends" CD too and so the rest of the tracks on this CD are reprised over again. It would have been great if they had used more tracks from "The Year Without a Santa Claus", or "Mr. Magoo..", or another Rankin/Bass film. Maybe even something from "The Christmas that almost wasn't". If you like the Snow Miser and the Heat Miser Songs then this CD is WORTH getting! But I suggest that you get "Rudolph, Frosty, and Friends" as well

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD Is A Lot Of Christmas Fun!, November 30, 2001
This review is from: Nick At Nite: A Classic Cartoon Christmas, Too (Audio CD)
This CD is cute and fun, has a lot of Classics from Christmas specials and movies! My favorites are the songs from The Year Without A Santa Claus, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming To Town, and Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. I rate it a 5 for how fun and lively this CD is, it is just filled with silly Christmas fun that is great for both children and adults!

3.0 out of 5 stars I'm too much!, December 2, 2005

I got this CD because it features the cult favorites "Heat Miser" and "Snow Miser" from The Year Without a Santa Claus. There are some other good songs from the classic Christmas cartoons Santa Claus Is Comin to Town, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. But I hardly think that Ren & Stimpy, Madeline and The Beginner's Bible can be considered "classic Christmas cartoons" (although I like Ren & Stimpy). And with a 22 minutes running time, this CD is way too short. But it's still worth getting just for "Heat Miser" and "Snow Miser".
