Pleasant substitute for cable TV,

We cancelled out cable about a year ago, but our 6yr-old daughter missed the programming on Nick Jr. This box set is a nice substitute (better than paying $60/month for cable). Good variety of shows, and no commercials.

My kids love this set. We don't have Noggin anymore and so my kids miss these shows. Also, CBS doesn't show them on Saturday mornings anymore, so they love these DVD's.
A great mix of all the favorite Nick Jr shows!

This set is absolutely great! My children love this and watch it over and over again. Is a must have for any child that loves Dora, Blues Clues,
Little Bill, and The Backyardigans. Wonderful gift idea hours of fun.

This is a good collection of videos for children. My grandchildren watch it over and over, taking turns watching their favorite characters.

From an adult view point, I find Sponge Bob more entertaining, but from a toddler view point I think that just about anything that is animated, is fine with them. And from a parent view point... Something that keeps them occupied in the car (and keeps her from scratching since she has eczema) and teaches her a thing or two about colors, spanish, and manners is even better.
I would recommend to any parent. Unfortunatly sometimes tv is a necessary evil, atleast here it is not only entertaining for little ones, but also educational.

The "Nick Jr" DVD's are a great alternative to watching a DVD with the same characters over and over again. The kids enjoy the change, and I enjoy not hearing the same theme song over and over and over again :-)
