Short and Sweet!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nick & Noel [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My kids, ages 5 and 2, received this video for christmas. It was an instant hit! It is a rather short video, 23 minutes, but the voices are great, songs are tolerable , and the graphics are good too. It is a great alternative to those other christmas videos, and because it is so short, it is great for negotiating ( watch this and then you have to eat, or take a bath...) It is the story of a little girl named Sarah who lives with her writer father and her cat Noel. They live next door to Ms. Leslie Lee, a singer, and her dog Nick. Sarah's father and Ms. Lee do not get along well in the beginning because her singing makes it hard for him to concentrate on his writing. Nick and Noel don't get along either. It is Sarah, the peacemaker, that brings this cat and dog team together. Sarah writes a letter to Santa for christmas, and doesn't ask for any toys, just a mommy! (just a touch of sadness) But her dad forgets to mail it and the adventure begins! Noel, the cat who never left the front porch, sets out to deliver personally to Santa. But she doesn't know where the north pole is so she has to ask Nick, the dog for help. As they go on their adventure, Sarah, Ms.Lee and the father, worried sick by the absence of their belved pets, all make peace and wouldn't you know it that when they are all reunited, Sarah gets a mommy for christmas when her dad and Leslie get married . Of course they all live happily ever after. It is a cute story and they want to watch it all the time!

I love this movie and it may be becasue i an biased. My cousin co-wrote this movie along with Pebble and the Penguin and a few other movies. My faviote line from the movie is the "Dogs always land on thier cats" line. I have repeated it to my cousin multiple times and he still laughs.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Nick & Noel [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I really miss that movie and I hope it gets on DVD, because it's either sold out or long-gone whenever I look. That movie entertaned me for a long time, and that movie taught me that "cats always land on their feet" while "dogs always land on their cats!" The "Dogs and Cats dox't Mix" song that Nick & Noel sang when they first met was kinda catchy. PLEASE PUT IT ON DVD. IF YOU DO, I'LL TRY TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO BUY THE MOVIE!!!!!!
