I've read the couple of negative reviews and term "pretentious" kept running through my head. Pretend Time is A GREAT SHOW that comedy central was stupid for ending...for those with capable wit to understand it. The "crude" segments are meant to be taken with a grain of salt and for the negative reviews who thought they "found" something negative. Those segments are meant to root you out for your obvious lacking of comical awareness. Try something different. It's okay, you can do it; even without being a prick because you don't understand the theme or comical nature of the skit. Parody shows try a lot of things that aren't for EVERYBODY!!! Arrogant reviewers who don't like every single skit don't understand that parody shows like "In Living Color" for example, are meant to push the boundaries. They are pushing to expand comedy for the next era. Nick Swardson's "Pretend Time" is a hidden gem and with fluff comedies taking over the airways like Modern Family, Parks and Rec, etc. who tow the ALL ACCESISSIBLE LINE? Don't let TV tell you what's funny. Sorry for the rant, but think for yourself and understand that is comedy shows like Nick's who get shut down because of lazy, incapable of understand real comedy if it came out of their A$$ unless it was approved by critics. Nick understands, Delocated, Sunny, Archer, Old School Simpsons, get it. You DON"T. Don't write a review if you don't understand the concept to begin with...

Nick Swardson, a.k.a "Sandler's Chosen One" can make some exxtremely funny situations 65% of the time, the other 35% is pretty awful, weird programming. I'm glad the Kroll Show took over his spot.

This show is hilarious. It is like a live action version of Robot Chicken. This is a great show. Very random, slightly twisted (as all good comedy is), and hilarious. I recommmend highly.

I hadn't really seen much of this show when it was on the air. Now watching these episodes I was really missing out. If you love sketch comedy give this a shot.

I like this guy in the Adam Sandler movies and in his standup, but this show is awful. Save your time and pick something else.

too funny, but alittle nutty. But he's a great comic! Have watched all of his movies, the TV shows are obviously pg 13.
