If you can stomach the negative humor of the CatDog Nickelodeon series, your kids are bound to love the fast-paced game play found in this set of arcade games. The goal is to score points, tokens and other goodies on CatDog's search for the Golden Hydrant. Children partake in six fun but challenging games on their quest, each with 10 progressively harder difficulty levels. In Greaser's The Word, kids help CatDog jump on piles of trash to catch the pieces of a treasure coupon. In Space Madness, players shoot at alien ships to help Mean Bob recover the pieces of his ship. There are mazes to negotiate and mountains to climb, with each activity equally entertaining. Technically, the program is also strong- the graphics and animation are just like that of the series, and the design of the program makes it especially easy to use.

My 6 & 9 year old daughters love playing this. My 4 year old nephew caught on quick also. They can sign in under their own name. There are 6 CatDog games, they can choose the level of difficulty from 1 to 10.

Most of the playing involves the arrow keys on the keyboard, which is helping them out to be able to look at the monitor without looking at the keys they need to use. Sounds effects are excellent.

This game does take some skill and kids will quickly pick up more on that after playing this game.

You can also save a game in the beginning, midddle, or end.

I got this game a while ago and it didn't take me very long to beat. Still, you get to pick between six fun Catdog games. In one , you need to get pieces of tickets while dodging the Greaser Dogs. In the others, you're in the Arctic, Taco Depot, space, a tomb filled with mummies, and trying to climb up a hill. All in all, it's very fun, yet might be too easy for an older audience. I think this game would be perfect for younger crowds.
