They say they have and anti-reflective coating. I'm not sure what they are coated with.

Hi, Gerald. Nikon says the lenses are "multi-coated." The lens have a bluish cast but do not have that orangish cast you see in some of the more expensive binoculars. As a side note: I am somewhat of a minimal user, meaning my binoculars spend more time in the drawer than in my hands. Nonetheless, I satisfied with these binoculars. Last weekend, we took them to a college football game at which we sat directly behind the goal posts. Both my wife and I were amazed at the clarity and sharpness of the view compared to the little sports binoculars we used to use. Earlier this summer we watched a lot of wildlife at an upstate New York lake. Again, sharp and satisfying.

I have a great deal of experience with optics (I design military optical systems for a living), and as I angle these binocs in various light sources I don't see any tint that would indicate to me that they are coated.
