I have tried Chantix, and went back to smoking, this works the first day, i was able not to smoke by the first day, going 14 hours without thinking about it. This is the way to go

As a HEAVY smoker 2 1/2 packs a day for 14 years.. I was Desperate! I wanted to quit so bad.. but couldn't STAND nicotine withdrawl! I used these patches CORRECTLY .. Step 1-3 Along with a "cigarette" (N Joy) Menthol and puffed on it "sometimes"... it helped me quit.. 3 months NO ANALOG SMOKING! Wooohooo thanks =)

These patches are so much easier to use in smoking cessation that the gun! You put one on and forget it for 24 hours. No fiddling with the dosage, no fudging. You get your dose in an even flow all day, with no temptation to increase it as can and does happen with the gum. The thing is, if you are addicted to nicotine, you will escalate the number of times per day you chew the gum just as you escalated the number of cigarettes you smoked per day. If it were not for the patch, I'd still be smoking! Oh, and I much prefer the opaque patch to the clear on;. they seem to adhere better.

I have to say this product is working wonders for me. I've been smoking since I was a teen and I'm in my early 30's now. I read a lot of reviews that said their first week was hell and that made me a little scared, so far I'm doing OK. I put on my first patch in the morning and I have been feeling good all day. I have to admit it is a little itchy be careful where you put them! I tried my tummy because i wasn't wearing sleeves but it was unbearable so I switched to my upper arm area. No sudden urges to smoke, only the occasional thought. I have identified my triggers (mainly after i eat) and instead of reaching for a smoke I grab some fruity gum and that has been working. It feel wonderful not to smoke! Words can't describe it. I even walked into the house when someone was smoking and kept going, knowing I could have easily bummed a smoke from them. Hope the rest of my days are this easy! Thank you NicoDerm!

Received item on time, however, a week into the program discovered numerous empty patch packages and it seems that some of the patches have no ingredient content. Could these be seconds or knockoffs? Not sure, but they're ineffective at curbing nicotine craving and of course, many of the patch packs have no patches in them. Buyer beware, might be one product you want to purchase at the neighborhood store.

I have been a non-smoker for 12 years now thanks to this product! The only thing I want to emphasize, like many other people have expressed, is that you have to WANT to quit...if you have the desire to quit, you can succeed with NicodermCQ. One of my incentives was to put the money that I use to spend on cigarettes in a canister. I use to buy a pack of cigarettes every other day so every other day the cigarette money was placed in the canister and for six months I was diligent about it. I then took my savings and spent the entire amount on myself!! Smoking in public is becoming harder and harder. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Chances are you will be happy you did.

I've been smoking a pack a day for nearly 13 years. I decided to quit, which is the biggest factor in all of this, and bought the patches. I used step 1 for 14 days and did not smoke one cigarette. I am no longer using the patch and I have no desire to smoke again. They work, as long as you let them.

The Nicoderm product is not bad but it made me a bit jittery. I got a bit nervous that it could affect my blodd pressure so I stopped. Everybody reacts differently I guess. My friend did stop smoking completely because of it though.

Didn't even upwrap - saw the list of chems and backed off. Better to read a book i figured. Sure did and it worked.Read Richard Craze's The Voice of Tobacco and see what he has to say about patches.
