Nicole Krauss is the author of "Man Walks into a Room," "Great House," and the international bestseller "The History of Love." Her books have been translated into more than thirty-five languages. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Nicole Krauss (born August 18, 1974) is an American author best known for her three novels Man Walks Into a Room (2002), The History of Love (2005) and Great House (2010). Her fiction has been published in The New Yorker, Harper's, Esquire, and Granta's Best American Novelists Under 40, and has been collected in Best American Short Stories 2003 and Best American Short Stories 2008. Her novels have been translated into 35 languages. In 2010, she was selected as one of The New Yorker's "20 Under 40" writers to watch.
