More About the Author
I was born in NYC and did a PhD in philosophy, studying in Boston and Europe. I think about philosophy of science in connection with authors not always connected with science such as Nietzsche and Heidegger. I have a special passion for the question of animal suffering and the earth and I write on philosophy and poetry (and music) in addition to ancient Greek bronzes.

This study of Nietzsche's philosophy of science is a first-rate piece of scholarship, and righly focuses on what Nietzsche's entire career focused on, the role and influence of science in shaping or mishaping modern culture. All of Nietzsche's work can be best seen in light of this questionable modern development. The style of this book is clear, precise, and lively. I highly recommend it.

Sometimes science can be useful, but I lack an infrastructure of knowledge in the terminology needed to dig this book.
