Nifty 3-in-1 Oven Baking Rack

I bought this specifically so I could double my baking capacity (four baking sheets in the oven instead of two at a time) but it didn't even come close. I'm returning to Amazon because, quite frankly, this thing is useless. It is NOT as described. They got tricky with their "dimensions," listing the approximate collapsed dimensions instead of the assembled dimensions. I read 22 inches wide and believed my standard half sheet pan (18 inches wide) would fit nicely. Not so. It forces you to load most baking sheets/pans length-wise, which means for the standard home oven, nothing bigger than a 9x13 pan (without wide handles!) will fit. Most baking sheets are simply too long to fit and still have your oven door close properly. Forget trying to use half sheet pans!

If they'd simply made it 4 inches wider, it would still fit in the oven with room to spare, AND it would fit most baking sheets/pans loaded width-wise, including my half sheet pans. It's a poor design, and the description on here is extremely misleading. I just hope Amazon grants my refund, since this item is completely useless to me. With any luck, they'll make the manufacturer list the assembled dimensions in the description to keep this kind of thing from happening again, too.

I have to say that this is a great little invention! I bake A LOT, and this rack saves me SO much time...the only "issue" I have, if you can call it that, is that some of my cookie sheets (the ones that have the handles/grips on the end) aren't able to be used with it, it's too long...other than that, I have no complaints...it's fantastic!

This product was not easy to use. It takes up to much room in the oven and really don't give you the extra room you think it is going to.

I used this for baking two heavier chicken dishes in a small oven, and for warming fritters.

It worked beautifully, my only concern was that I did have to balance the dishes carefully. I would have liked the locking support to be a little better.

I did have a couple slightly darker pieces of meat, but that was my error (I have an oven that runs hot) not the baking rack.

The rack was very easy to set up and break down, it's totally self contained so no spare pieces to lose, and it's very very easy to store.

It tripled the capacity of my small apartment oven, which was critical when serving 12 people.

I really look forward to using it again.

The baking rack insert allows me bake several cookie sheets at one time which will save me from being in the kitchen all day and saves on my gas bill Plus won't heat up the house all day.

I got this for my family holiday cookie day. With 6 types of cookies & 1 oven it was an all day event. I tried it for the first time this year & it was amazing. If you put your oven rack at the lowest level & place this rack on top you can put your other oven rack at the highest level & bake 4 sheets at once! We were done baking in just a few hours. If your have some large baking sheets like me they may not fit in the rack but they can go on top & on the top oven rack. Hint: make sure to rotate the cookies on the bottom rack so they don't burn! Eventhought I will only use this once a year it was worth buying. I recommend this for anyone who bakes a lot of cookies.
