It's absolutely excellent
From Catherine (age 8) I like this book because it has many different animals to make, and the instructions are pretty easy to understand. The pictures are easy to follow. When you're done with the animals, you can make a zoo.

It not one piece origami
This book has many models but alot of them you have to ether cut or add string to make them look right.It's ok for someone new to origami.

This book has very simple folds and just like advertised it is written for a younger crowd. If you are looking to get started with in standard origami or something with a challange then you might look elsewhere like at Montroll or Lang.
