Editorial Reviews

FLASHOGRAPHY gives you an insight into how lighting can enhance the mood of your photographs. Just a few techniques are all you need to start producing superbly lit shots that bring out the best in your models and liven up your photography. You will also see how two totally different looks can be achieved from the same model.
Here is a way of lighting a model that may seems strange at first. It breaks many of the rules of glamour photography. Yet by breaking those rules in a controlled way, you can obtain much more dramatic pictures.
Lights are placed on the floor, and hidden behind the model. Not normal, but full of impact.
You are also shown how digital re-touching in Photoshop can give you so many pictures from the very same frame. The hand tinted look, or sepia, or drama through contrast.
A good photographer must be able to add interest to the picture, but he must also have a working knowledge of lighting that will cover a range of situations. On this part of Flashography you are given a lighting demonstration that will serve you well over a wide variety of work.
You will also be shown how you can use a photographic retouching program to make your model look taller without losing her shape or distorting her face or figure.

I give this 1 star not due to content, but this is PAL format not NTSC. So I have to watch this on my PC rather than the DVD player
