"Naked Shadows" presented by Nigel Holmes demonstrates, in a live fashion, how to do outstanding photographs using just one light, and your imagination, for effects. Simply put, you don't need a budget, just a good light and items you can construct yourself for shadow effects. You can use these techniques for not only glamourous erotica but just about anything else. The DVD also includes a model interview explaining, from the models point of view, what makes a good photographer when it comes to photographer-model pr.

I would like to have given this DVD five stars, as I have given Nigel's books, but unfortunately this is not quite as good. The DVD is a little too short and I feel more could have been included, both during the shooting and the interview.

But I will still recommend this DVD to photographers who have an interest in taking portraits. You will learn how to make great photos using very little equipment. Two sessions are shown, and both can be easily replicated in your own home. You do not have to be taking pictures of naked women to learn something useful!

As a bonus, Nigel has a good sense of humour and is a good teacher. And the model? I hope to work with her some day!

Well the movie is good, but it doesn't play in my dvd...thanks god it play in my Macbook.
I was waiting for more content...the movie is very short.

This will not play in most DVD players due to the format being PAL not NTSC. I deceided to keep it though as I can play this on my PC.

I ordered this, and found that it would not play on my DVD player. It's supposed to be a DVD-R, which do play on my machines. I tried it on 2 of them, and it didn't work. So I exchanged it, which was easy enough. The second one does the same thing- it will not play, and the DVD Player says that it can't play this type of disk. I don't know if it's a Region 2, or a DVD-RW, or not finalized. But I'm 0 for 2 trying to view this. I'm not going to bother to send it back this time. But if you buy it, it might not play on your machine either.
