For this book to be published in the era of gangster novels, is nothing short of a miracle. Brother Cincere has such a passion for truth and justice, that his words literally jumps off the pages!.This book is packed with pictures that I have never seen in my life, and I have read tons of books. Did you know that their exsist money with African leaders stamped upon them...

1.0 out of 5 stars Racism Towards Other Races Isn't Right, Either!!
This book tries to group races by accomplishments, rather than considering the possibility that race has nothing to do with it. Shouldn't we be more concerned with each person, regardless of race, finding him or herself to become an individual.

It is enough of the white-black issue. We are living in the twenty-first century where it isn't a crime for blacks...

For this book to be published in the era of gangster novels, is nothing short of a miracle. Brother Cincere has such a passion for truth and justice, that his words literally jumps off the pages!.This book is packed with pictures that I have never seen in my life, and I have read tons of books. Did you know that their exsist money with African leaders stamped upon them? can you name one of them?. This is the type of information you just can't put a price on. I will go as far to say this is the most informative book on African history since the dawning of this new millennium. I know from Some where from on high Dr.Henry Clarke is looking down smiling. That's the highest complement I can pay. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks that's another lie. Cincere proves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perspectives, February 27, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
In his book We Ain't No Niggas, N. Quamere Cincere maintains the fact that that all cultures have both the good and the negative aspects of their heritage. This is harder for African- Americans to realize due to being schooled in a system that chooses to ignore the part of history that puts them on equal footing with Europeans. Archeologists have proven that the earliest human remains were found in Africa. Does it not make sense that because the earliest human remains were found in Africa that the first civilization was built there?

History is defined as the discipline that records and interprets past events and more importantly a person's interpretation of events is subject to his perspectives, and the other culture is forced to view a one-sided explanation of events. Thus so, when you remind one culture of only the negative side of their history, but omit another culture's most heinous acts, you are cutting off the other societies clear-cut view of themselves.

N. Quamere Cincere shows how European egos are boosted by omitting that they had a long history laced with murder, incest, cannibalism, and homosexuality, but their story, the European perspective, has been cleaned up to make a more palatable perspective and to glorify their past. On the other hand, great African Civilizations such as that of, the great dynasty's of Medieval Mali, and the dynastic Nubian Kingdom of Pharaoh Menses, and the golden city of Timbuktu are left un-mentioned or billed as being mythical at best.

This book shows how omitting the negative aspects of certain cultures, makes these cultures look second-rate when you point out every negative aspect o f that culture. I enjoyed reading this book and have investigated certain aspects of it and I will continue to do so. This is a must read book so do a loved one a favor; buy them one and encourage them to teach their children. Both races , Black and White, will benefit from reading this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lies Your Teachers Told You, February 12, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
Africa is the cradle of civilization. Period.

The attempts to obliterate the rich heritage of the grand cultures who set the foundation for math, the arts and sciences has been the criminal outgrowth of the Eurocentric formula of the (mis)education system and the devaluation of real history through lies and deceit.

And the unfortunate reality remains is the truth won't be found in the "mainstream" books in schools, bookstores and libraries. But the web of disinformation is coming undone, though we must get past the critics who bemoan about "revisionist history" and "pseudo-science." Remember, the Eurocentrics love to label things.

In an important book that is a guide to the truth, author N. Quamere Cincere immediately gets your attention before you turn any pages. He then - in a very readable layout - provides a solid foundation through guidance to uncovering the truth that has been buried for centuries.

Cincere's work is part of a growing library of publications that will return the birthplace of civilization to its proper place & time. Our streams to the truth begins with a light rain that quenches the parched ground. More rain will make a body of water - a lake - with tributaries moving away to bring needed nutrients to other lands.

Begin to drink from that pure water to cleanse the mind & soul. The true reality will then become clearer and clearer.

This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
WE AIN'T NO NIGGAS by N. Quamere Cincere exposes American History education for what it really is. He points out that in our history classes we are taught the positive things about European Americans and the negatives about African Americans. How many of us are aware, through our formal education, civilization began in Africa? Is it common knowledge that Africans at one time dominated Europeans? Which of us hasn't heard the story of the Egyptian pyramids being built by aliens because obviously Africans just weren't that smart? We are told the story of Herodotus, the Father of History, but we are never told that he is presenting only the positive items that he chose about Europeans. He skillfully omits the cannibalism, child molestation, murder, blood drinking and feeding one's enemy their own children. What we are shown are noble Europeans with ambition and intelligence. When it comes to Africa, we are reminded of the savagery and the image of an African is some half human thing running through the jungle committing vile acts. This is done to maintain the superiority of the European American while keeping the African American in his/her place. It serves to keep African Americans down.

Cincere has done a magnificent job of bringing forward the critically unbalanced history that permeates our schools from kindergarten through college. He uses many illustrations, even showing copies of African money, the pyramids and the chocolate Pharaohs, although our movies and media frequently show them as, if not white, very close. One of his interesting conclusions was that the Jeffrey Dahmer's of our country are just following what was in their blood, just as African Americans are following their heritage when they go after the "bling," because after all, Africa is the continent with the most natural resources such as gold and diamonds. It is a must read for everyone - African American as well as European Americans if we are ever to realize that every group of people has bad points as well as good ones. If America is ever to become a place where both groups are viewed as equal, we must acknowledge the good and the bad of Europe as well as Africa. This is a book that every youngster in America should have in his/her collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!!, March 6, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
The cover of this book says it all: If you did not know this is a statue of King Tut, you NEED to read this book. We Ain't No Niggas! shows the grave imbalance in what has and has not been taught about African and African-American History. The author gives historical, documented facts on how Africa was the birthplace of civilization. There is a wealth of information in this book that's just simply priceless. From pioneering universities that taught various subjects such as math and astronomy, to bank notes of African countries with pictures of African leaders stamped on them, this book should be required reading for all African-Americans. You will also learn how great African kingdoms had a great influence in European history. This book also gives clear references to other books in order to learn even more about this subject. We Ain't No Niggas! is a book that is needed in today's African-American society.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knowing the Whole-Story instead of just His-Story, July 13, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
This book is based on one simple premise, "To create equality in society, you must create equality in history". For hundreds of years black people have been brainwashed into believing they are inferior, while white people have the misguided impression that they are superior. This book is a stepping stone towards leveling the playing field by teaching the true history of Europeans and Africans. In the end it all boils down to one thing...WE ARE ALL EQUAL!

Like the author, I too believe that we have been miseducated. Too many black people are walking around with a slave mentality. This book is a must read. It will inspire black people to improve their social, financial and political position in society, by teaching them that they are worthy.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's an eye opener!, April 20, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
Balance is the key and this book vividly and explicitly annotated the imbalance in our world history education. I always knew that something was out of sync. I always wondered why African Americans were the only people who's accomplishments were not regularly celebrated. This book puts it all in perspective and I am committed to learning more and sharing it with others. It's about time, someone told the truth.

5.0 out of 5 stars OPEN YOUR MIND, March 9, 2007
This review is from: We Ain't No Niggas! Exposing the Deception of YOUR World History Education (Paperback)
This book is an excellent chronology of detailed historical facts of our positive African history! And this rich cultural history should be included in all texts, pre-school, middle school, high school and African studies in higher education! "You can not!'' "I repeat "You Can Not" know your history from reading history in its current curriculum or format. This constant view of historical perfection is a confabulated façade. You must venture out, decipher and explore our rich African history. Mr. Cincere puts a much needed balance to a never ending unbalanced account of factual history! He has done the research and the leg work all you have to do it "OPEN YOUR MIND AND READ".
